100 Sensational Lightpainting Photos

You’ve probably heard about the cool photography technique called lightpainting. If you haven’t, it basically involves using a slower shutter speed at night to let in more light. If a photographer wanted to “draw” or “paint” with light, they would simply need to move the lightsource(s) around during the long exposure. Lightsources can range from cell phone screens (there’s a lightpainting iPhone app), flashlights, stars in the sky, car lights… the list goes on. Just be creative. This roundup contains lightpainting shots from professionals and amateurs alike.
